Which edition should I choose?

Choose the JetBrains edition for IntelliJ Platform products such as IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, and Android Studio. Choose the VS Code edition for Visual Studio Code. They are separate products, each tuned to its editor.

Which themes are included?

Both editions include Norrsken, Mork, Skygge, Blatime, Ettersyn, and Dagr. The first five are dark themes; Dagr is the light option. All six share the same semantic color roles.

Can I try Skol before buying?

The JetBrains Marketplace edition includes a 30-day free trial. The VS Code edition is available as a direct purchase through Gumroad.

Which JetBrains products are supported?

It is intentional. Skol emphasizes semantic roles that help you read structure and state, while punctuation and secondary UI remain quiet. The goal is less visual competition, not less information.

How do I install the VS Code edition?

Download the VSIX file delivered through Gumroad. In VS Code, open the Extensions view, choose “Install from VSIX…”, select the file, and then activate your preferred Skol theme.
