What do I get with my purchase?
The complete new ng-portfolio Angular template, its local visual editor, demo content, and setup guide. The original ng-portfolio Classic is included as a separate project with its own layouts and instructions.
How do I make it my own?
Install the dependencies with npm ci and open the local editor with npm run setup. Edit your profile, images, and content, then export the configuration into your project. The included guide covers the build and deployment steps.
Do I need to know Angular?
The visual editor handles the main content and appearance settings. You need basic familiarity with npm and hosting to run and publish the project. Angular knowledge helps if you want to change components or build additional features. The new template requires Node.js 22.22.3 or later in the 22.x line, Node.js 24.15.0 or later in the 24.x line, or Node.js 26.
Is the download identical to nivek.me?
The template shares the design direction of Kevin's personal site. It comes with the fictional Alex Morgan profile, editable sample artwork, and Signals and liquid-chrome hero effects. Kevin's personal photos, content, and Matterhorn background are not included.
Are there any recurring costs?
The template is a one-time purchase. The editor runs locally on your computer. Hosting and a domain are separate and depend on the provider you choose.
What is the difference between the new design and Classic?
The new design has a dark hero, editorial sections, two animated hero effects, a configurable accent colour, and a visual editor. Classic is the original résumé-focused template with Spotlight and Portrait layouts and light and dark themes. Both are included as separate Angular projects.
I already use the original template. Can I switch?
You can transfer your content into the new template's configuration. The projects have different structures, so there is no automatic migration. Your existing Classic site can stay as it is.
